The San Felipe district is located at the heights of Jaén in a climate similar to that of Callayuc, Cutervo. Both of these have recently gained interest for their highly conducive climate for producing high-quality coffee. With a more temperate weather pattern, high altitude and lower humidity, allowing for slower ripening and processing of parchment. This lot comes from the sub district of La Cocha within the San Felipe District. Small holders here also grow rice and sugarcane both for local consumption and as subsidiary income
