Founded in 1999 by Daiki Suzuki under the Nepenthes umbrella, Engineered Garments blends in Suzuki's unique taste in classic tailoring, sportswear, workwear, outdoor wear, and military uniforms. Suzuki, dives deep into the details of construction, functionality and hidden qualities of each design. Often blending in conflicting styles, Suzuki strays away from the notion of "perfect design". As such, Suzuki refers to his garments as engineered rather designed. Engineered Garments bases its design office and production in the garment district of New York.
